NEWSCHOOLFOREUROPE

This year our school is taking part again in the eTwinning network with four projects, three in English - NEWSCHOOLFOREUROPE, European Fantasy Book, European Newspaper: children's point of view - and one in French, Connexions européennes.

NEWSCHOOLFOREUROPE, the important international section of our Carogiornalinonline, has been confirmed since last year.

European Fantasy Book is another project approved by eTwinning Italian national authority. It involves schools from various parts of Italy (Naples, Bari, Foggia and Venafro, near Isernia) and from other European countries (Spain, Albania, Serbia, Greece, Romania and Turkey). 32 teachers and some hundreds of students are cooperating to create a digital book with fantasy stories (but not only) that will be shared all over the world!

What about the authors? Pupils and students from 6 to 16 will write and draw stories. Then they'll transform these stories into videos by using interactive tools.

European Newspaper: children's point of view would like to create an online school newspaper with short, simple and spontaneous articles written by pupils aged from 9 to 13. This way they could express their point of view on various topics (culture, national and international important events, celebrations or simple topics of interest to their age). We are very happy to take part in this project with the Adelaide Ristori School in Naples, because we already twinned last year.

Connexions européennes addresses young learners of French as a Foreign Language who would like to improve their communicative competence in French by writing letters to other young people of their own age. They will communicate in French about different subjects they are interested into. They will also be involved in interesting activities that animates FLE courses.
